What causes my steering wheel to shake while braking coming off the highway?
Fisher Auto Service FAQ
How do I know when my car needs a new timing belt?
Why don't I have good air flow from my dash vents?
This is most likely caused by front brake rotors that are warped. The brake pads may or may not be worn out. Brake rotors should be resurfaced or replaced because driving with warped rotors can lead to premature failure of steering and suspension parts.
Fisher Auto Service takes special care to understand the unique needs of each of our clients. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding your car care needs.

If your car is equipped with a timing belt each manufacturer will have a recommended service interval. The Owner's Manual can be helpful in determining when to replace the timing belt. If you are unsure, give us a call and we will be happy to look it up for you. Please note: many engines with timing belts are referred to as "interference engines" and can suffer serious damage if the belt breaks while running.
If it is an older car with an evaporator core, it may be clogged with debris and needs to be cleaned. If it is a newer vehicle equipped with a cabin filter, the filter may need to be replaced. Also, if you have problems with allergies, a new cabin filter can help keep the air in your car clean.
My car keeps losing antifreeze but I never see a spot under the car. Is this bad?
This could be a combustion leak where the antifreeze is actually going out the tailpipe or leaking into the crankcase with the motor oil. It would be a good idea to have your cooling system checked for leaks. This is not a problem you should ignore.
